DUTIES/QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, a staff member must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


Attend new hire department and company orientation prior to beginning work in the department. Continue attending Quality & Training classes for personal development.

Help keep a positive guest experience. Smile, be helpful and friendly while providing quick and accurate service.

Reports for duty on time and in proper uniform.

Pick up work schedule for assigned rooms for that day. Also sign out floor key with Housekeeping Management. At the end of the shift, the floor key must be signed back in and the work schedule must be returned to Housekeeping Management.

Room Attendant must pick up their caddy (guest amenities) before going to their assigned floor. On their assigned floor they will pick up their linen cart.

Reports the status of room as they are completed to the supervisor.

Room Attendant are responsible for changing linen daily, cleaning bathrooms, replacing amenities, dusting and vacuuming, deodorizing, spot cleaning doors, walls and windows in all guest rooms. Replenish all guest supplies in proper place. Also check all light fixtures. Check shower heads and vents. Clean coffee pots and replace coffee, cream and sugar. Communicates with Housekeeping Management concerning problems or difficulty with equipment. Cleans the guest lobby and corridors.

Returns equipment and supplies to the proper storage areas.

Follows proper safety, security and hospitality procedures.

Brings all items found in vacant rooms immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor.

Proper use of personal protective equipment.
